February's Completed Goals

Can you believe it's March already?! Me either! Well, February was a short month...

I didn't get nearly as much done in February as I would have liked but at least I got something done. :)

I've still been slowly going through fabric, deciding what to keep, what to sell, or what to give away. It's a huge chore and one that still isn't complete. I'm very thankful for the gift of all this fabric from my father-in-law even though it was all a mess when it came!

Other then organizing fabric I've completed a few projects...

I made Jameson 6 new cloth diapers. He sure is growing fast!

I repaired a hole in our quilt. My husband somehow began the hole and one of my sons caught their toes in it and made it larger, much larger! I made the quilt in 2005 and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to match fabrics to patch the hole. Amazingly, I still had that exact fabric in my stash and was able to patch it up perfectly!

I also completed several sets of cloth wipes and a newborn ladybug cloth diaper gift set for my Hen and Chick Cloth shop.

Lastly, I pieced together a quilt top for my sisters quilt ministry. This didn't take as long as it looks because I already had half of it completed and stashed it away for a rainy day. This year I'm trying to pull out un-finished projects and get them done!

Well, that's it! I'm glad to have completed a few items in February!

  1. Lots of great accomplishments! Do you know what a relief it is to see that quilt top? It is so hard to keep up with the demand!! Thanks a ton!
