Now Available: Un-Paper Towels

I have lots more Un-Paper towels available in the shop! I don't know what else to call these things, kitchen cloths, cleaning towels? Anyways, mine have a core that you can roll the towels onto and it all snaps together. They fit onto a paper towel holder and look like paper towels, but they're not paper... they're Un-Paper! :)

You can find them on my Website or on Etsy.

Custom Order: Adult Cloth Diapers

I seem to get a lot of traffic when I post about adult cloth diapers. I have been making some here and there for handicapped individuals and really enjoy the process and helping other be more comfortable in their daily lives. I like to share what I've completed for others to see. Of course, the new owners are always anonymous and the packaging they come in are post office priority boxes, also unmarked for the contents.

I completed the order below a couple weeks ago and am so glad to have high compliments for my workmanship. One diaper has 4 hidden layers of terry with 4 layers of flannel outside. The other has 6 layers of terry inside and 6 layers of flannel outside. Both have elastic at the legs and the back. These have no closures added by me because the customer prefers using pins they already have. Both diapers are serged in a light blue thread as requested.

John Deere Custom Order

This was a fun set to make! The mom-to-be wanted something fun that the dad-to-be would love & I think we hit the nail on the head with this fabric choice. We used 2 different John Deere fabrics and I made up 4 cloth diapers, 4 diaper covers and a large wetbag. They turned out so cute! :)

Custom Order: Newborn Diaper Set

Here is a custom order I made over the summer. The photos were posted on facebook quite a while ago. This set was made for a family who wanted some fun boy prints. There's really a lot of fabric to choose from, not just for girls, but plenty of boy things too! :) Real tree, tools, and firemen equipment...

Introducing: Diaper Sets!

Newborn matching cloth diapers and diaper cover sets are now available!

These have been in the planning stage for a long time! My workers and I are slowing working through all the things I have. They are doing their best and creating wonderful items just as I asked and I'm doing my best to stay on top of school while sewing, helping customers, planning new projects, and listing new items, such as these diaper sets. We still have several newborn sets to get through and then we'll start on the smalls. If you have requests for different sizes, please let me know!

You can find these current, ready-to-ship, diaper sets on my Website or on Etsy. Happy Shopping!

Hexi #12 Ol' Matt's Lantern

I got another AHHH done! This one is a little funky. My 4 year-old son helped me pick out the fabric and insisted I not change a single thing. So I didn't and here we have a little gecko peaking out at us and it has been deemed 'perfect!'. :)

Want to make your own? Visit Tonya's shop HERE for the pattern.

Grape Bistro Chairs

It's been awhile since I've done any blogging. I've been really busy! College classes are up and running full time and business is still plowing ahead. Life is very busy but I thought I'd take a few minute to show off some things I've gotten done. I'll be scheduling some additional posts for the future too. If your friends with me on facebook or are a fan of my facebook page then you've probably already seen some of the projects I've done lately.

Over the summer I worked on a pair on bistro chairs with a grape motif. I took off the seats and stripped the old paint off. There were a couple layers and I eventually got it all cleaned off! I then spray painted them in a glass black enamel and hand painted the grapes and leaves on in colored enamel. While it was drying I reupholstered the seats with new cushions, grape fabric, and a clear outer vinyl for durability. The chairs turned out beautifully and my customer absolutely loves them! They were originally outside chairs but she has decided to keep them in her kitchen now. :)
