A Birthday Scarf
My younger son has been very interested in knitting lately so for his 6th birthday I knitted him up a simple scarf. He's in love with it. :) I actually let him pick out the yarn at the store and he watched the progress as it grew off my needles. He was thrilled to open the package and see the completed scarf. He wears it all the time and announces that his 'mommy made it!' whenever asked. <3
Pattern: Dapperly Dashing Scarf (from Ravelry)

Kitty Dress
The kitty dress was so fun to make! The appliqued kitty makes this dress purrrrrfect for any little girl to wear to school, church, or any other function.
For this dress, a blue and white print was first chosen for the main fabric and then matching colors were chosen for the kitty.
This dress is fully customizable to whatever color choices you want.
$55/each. Sizes available are girls 3 to 8.

Peacock Caplet
This past summer, I began experimenting with dying yarn. For this yarn I combined several different blues and a deep purple to create the peacock colorway.
It turned out really well!
I really wanted to make something with the peacock yarn that I could wear in the fall to my college classes. I found a pretty simple caplet that knit up quickly. You can find the Traveler's Cape on Ravelry. I did add the extra cable down the center back to mimic the front cables but otherwise the pattern is the same. I completed it just in time in late summer to wear once it started cooling down.
I have plenty more one of a kind yarns for sale in my shop: Color to Dye For!

Berry Crush Knitted Socks
Knitted socks are one of my favorite things to make. I learned to knit just so I could make my own socks. I have small feet and many of the store bought socks are too big and floppy. Besides, there are so many more color options with knitting my own socks!
For these socks I used a plain stockinette stitch. This type of sock is usually just called a 'plain vanilla' sock. It's a no-fuss knit sock.
I used the David's Toe-Up Sock Cookbook pattern, which I found on Ravelry. This has been the best basic sock pattern I've found so far.
For the yarn I used my own hand dyed skein. I called the color-way 'Berry Crush". The colors range from red to pink to deep purple and everything in between.
I have lots of hand dyed yarn for sale too, if you want to grab some! I have everything from sock yarns all the way up to bulky weight yarns.

Color to Dye For- One of A Kind Hand Dyed Yarns
I've always loved hand dyed yarns and I'm the kind of person who wants to try everything crafty related. I've hand dyed fabric in the past and thought yarn couldn't be much different. After researching, gathering tools and supplies, I had a go at it! I fell in love and went a little crazy dying as much yarn as possible. Now I have tons of hand dyed yarn for myself and plenty to share with you!
There are sock yarns, DK weight yarns, worsted weight yarns, and bulky yarns available. Almost everything is one of a kind (OOAK) in lots of fun color ways. Check them out and grab a skein for yourself or as a gift before they're all gone!
